23.37 Gram California Gold Nugget (SOLD)

This is a big, beautiful placer gold nugget from northern California. This nugget was found in Shasta County, California. It is a nice big "slug" of gold with an unusual shape. Prospectors are still finding gold in this famous gold mining region, but large nuggets like this one are hard to come by. It weighs 23.37 grams.
