Here is a nice parcel of gold nuggets from the famous Rye Patch placers in Pershing County, Nevada. Gold from this area is famous for its distinctive look with interesting characteristics to the gold. These were all found by a prospector using a metal detector many years ago. Although this area still produces some nice gold from time to time, finding gold in this areas is getting tough with the amount of prospecting that happens each season. This lot weighs 5.02 grams.
