2.95 Gram Alaska Gold Nugget (SOLD)

This is an attractive nugget that was found by miners this summer in the Fortymile Mining District near Eagle, Alaska. It weighs 2.95 grams. Only a handful of people live here year-round, but during the summer miners still explore the gravels of the rivers and creeks in this remote district in search of elusive gold nuggets like this one.
