6.79 Gram California Gold Nugget (SOLD)

Here is a nugget that was recently found in the Siskiyou County, California. This is one of those classic "slug" nuggets that come out of the ancient tertiary river channels that cover California's rich gold country. This one was recently unearthed with the help of a metal detector. This nugget weighs 6.79 grams. It is smooth and thick! The penny in the photo is for size reference only.
