7.63 Gram Nevada Gold - Round Mountain Gold Mine (SOLD)

This piece of natural gold originates from the Round Mountain Gold Mine in Nye County, Nevada. It is a fascinating specimen that was found back in the 90's. Back then, employees that worked at the mine were able to purchase pieces of gold direct from the mine. That stopped years ago, and now (to my knowledge) there is no more specimen gold coming out of Round Mountain. All of the gold is being processed and smelted.
